Always a creative and passionate party-giver, Amanda has been an avid hostess in New York City and Long Island for almost 20 years and has been styling events for A-listers around the country since 2021.
Her events, along with her tips and guidance, have been highlighted in Celebrity Parents Magazine, Hollywood Life, LA Fashion, Martha Stewart Living, the New York Post, NY Style Guide, People Magazine, Real Simple, US Weekly, and more.
Raised on a dairy farm outside of Madison, Wisconsin, Amanda is just as comfortable in a barn as a banquet hall and has always embraced a lifestyle embodying the high-low approach to fashion, life, and of course, parties.
After moving to New York in 2001, she spent her early career as the Director of White Collar Investigations for a prestigious private investigations firm in midtown Manhattan. There she honed valuable research skills and a fervor for the minutiae, which contribute to her continued drive to search high and low for the perfect party detail, idea, or tool.
Amanda is married with one young daughter and three adult stepsons. With a large extended Italian family, a seemingly revolving front door, and of course a passion for parties, she and her husband live by the motto: “the more, the merrier.” She is a firm believer in the power of bringing people together and lingering around a table with laughter and loved ones.
With her love for entertaining and thirst for research, Amanda founded the High-Low Hostess to empower and inspire other hosts and hostesses to make their own celebrations — of every style, size, and budget – more elegant, effortless, and unforgettable. With a growing collection of imaginative and practical tools, guidance, and resources, she is showing others how to make every part of the planning process seamless, every detail effortless — and every occasion more beautiful, more meaningful, and more memorable for all.
